MUJAGIC HAT-TRICK SENDS KUCHING CITY INTO FA CUP SEMI-FINALS
Kuching City FC booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals after defeating Kelantan City FC 4–1 in the second leg of their quarter-final tie at Stadium Taha Ariffin on Saturday, 10 October.
With the first leg in Kota Bharu ending goalless, both sides entered the return fixture with everything to play for. However, The Cats took control early, with Yuki Tanigawa heading home Muhammad Nazmi Faiz’s corner in the 10th minute.

Ajdin Mujagic doubled the home side’s advantage eight minutes later, finishing a delivery from Joao Pedro to put Kuching City 2–0 ahead.
Kelantan City responded just before the interval. Hadin Azman beat goalkeeper Shahril Saari with a long-range strike in the 44th minute, reducing the deficit and ensuring the visitors remained in contention at half-time.

Kuching City regained control after the break and restored their two-goal cushion in the 67th minute. A move involving captain Petrus Shitembi and Ramadhan Saifullah created the opening for Mujagic to score his second of the night.
The Bosnian striker then completed his hat-trick following another assist from Ramadhan, putting the hosts 4–1 ahead and firmly on course for the semi-finals.

Mujagic thought he had added a fourth personal goal late in the match, but the effort was ruled out following a VAR review for a foul in the build-up.
The score remained 4–1 at the final whistle, securing an identical aggregate victory for Aidil Sharin Sahak’s side. Mujagic’s first hat-trick for Kuching City capped a memorable home performance as The Cats continued their FA Cup campaign.
